Privacy Policy for Snake Survival

Effective date: 2026-05-05

Last updated: 2026-05-09

Snake Survival, the “App”, is published by Panic Pixels, a studio brand operated by Moolu.

In this Privacy Policy, “Panic Pixels”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Moolu operating the App under the Panic Pixels studio brand.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Snake Survival on Android.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android version of Snake Survival distributed through Google Play or other authorized Android distribution channels.

2. Data controller

For the purposes of the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws, the data controller for data processed directly by us is:

Moolu, operating under the Panic Pixels studio brand
Email: games@moolu.io

If you contact us for support, we will process the information you provide so we can respond to your request.

3. What data we collect

Snake Survival does not require you to create an account. We do not intentionally collect direct identifiers such as your name, home address, or phone number through the App itself.

However, the App and our third-party service providers may collect or receive the categories of data described below.

A. Data stored locally on your device

The App stores gameplay data locally on your device, such as:

  • best score
  • in-game credits
  • selected skin, hat, and background
  • purchased or unlocked cosmetic items
  • gameplay progression flags
  • app preferences and settings

This local save data is used so your progress and settings persist between sessions. This data is stored on your device and may be deleted if you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.

B. Analytics and attribution data

The App uses Singular SDK for mobile attribution, analytics, campaign measurement, and fraud prevention.

Through this integration, we or Singular may collect or receive data such as:

  • app events and gameplay milestones we send, such as score achievements, in-game credit spend milestones, unlock events, or similar gameplay events
  • device identifiers and advertising identifiers, where available, including Android Advertising ID / AD_ID
  • install referrer and attribution-related data
  • IP address
  • device type, operating system, app version, language, network, and similar technical information
  • approximate location inferred from IP address
  • diagnostic, anti-fraud, and performance-related information

C. Advertising data

The App uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to load and display rewarded advertisements.

Through this integration, Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive data such as:

  • advertising identifiers, including Android Advertising ID / AD_ID where available
  • IP address
  • device information, operating system, app version, language, and similar technical information
  • app interactions related to ads, including ad requests, impressions, views, taps, rewarded video completions, and reward events
  • diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and performance information
  • approximate location inferred from IP address

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Google’s advertising settings.

D. Support communications

If you contact us directly, we may collect:

  • your email address
  • your name or nickname, if you provide it
  • the contents of your message
  • screenshots, logs, or other information you choose to send us

4. Permissions the App uses

The Android build may use permissions including:

  • INTERNET — to connect to analytics, attribution, advertising, and related services
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to determine network availability for ads and connectivity
  • com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID — to access the Android Advertising ID where permitted by the device, user settings, and applicable law
  • Install referrer / Google Play related permissions — to support attribution and install measurement

The App does not request access to contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, SMS, or call logs as part of its current gameplay implementation.

5. How we use data

We use data for the following purposes:

  • to provide the App and its gameplay features
  • to save gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device
  • to operate, maintain, debug, and improve the App
  • to understand game performance and player engagement trends
  • to measure app installs, attribution, campaign performance, and anti-fraud signals
  • to serve, reward, and measure rewarded advertisements
  • to detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, bugs, crashes, and security issues
  • to respond to support requests
  • to comply with legal obligations

6. Legal bases for processing

Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the App features you request, including gameplay, local progress saving, and rewarded ad functionality.
  • Legitimate interests — to maintain, secure, analyze, improve, and monetize the App, and to prevent fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • Consent — where required by law, including for personalized advertising, advertising identifiers, analytics, or similar technologies.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.

Where consent is required, you may withdraw or manage consent through in-app consent tools where available, device settings, platform controls, or by contacting us.

7. Advertising choices and consent

The App may show consent choices to users in certain regions, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Where required, these choices may allow you to accept or reject personalized advertising and related data processing.

You can also limit or reset your Android Advertising ID through your device settings.

If you decline personalized ads, you may still see ads, but they may be less relevant.

8. Sharing of data

We may share data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Singular — for analytics, attribution, campaign measurement, and fraud-prevention services
  • Google / AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK — for rewarded ads, ad measurement, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and related advertising services
  • service providers and contractors who help us operate, maintain, analyze, or secure the App
  • authorities, regulators, or legal counterparties where required by law or where necessary to protect our rights, users, or services
  • a buyer, investor, or successor entity in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable safeguards

We do not sell personal data in the traditional sense of exchanging it directly for money. However, some privacy laws may define certain advertising or analytics disclosures as “sharing”, “targeted advertising”, or similar regulated activity.

9. International data transfers

Our third-party providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, and contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards implemented by us or our service providers.

10. Data retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Local gameplay data remains on your device until deleted by you, removed by uninstalling the App, cleared through device settings, or overwritten by the App.
  • Analytics, attribution, advertising, anti-fraud, and diagnostic data may be retained by us and our service providers for as long as needed for measurement, reporting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and operational purposes.
  • Support communications are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your request and maintain appropriate business records.

Because Snake Survival does not require account creation, we may not always be able to identify App usage data associated with a specific individual unless you provide information that allows us to do so.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • correct inaccurate personal data
  • delete your personal data
  • restrict or object to certain processing
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • request portability of certain data
  • opt out of certain sharing, targeted advertising, or sale-like disclosures where applicable
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or regulator

If GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to request information about international transfer safeguards.

To exercise your rights, contact us at:

games@moolu.io

We may need to verify your request before responding. Because the App does not require an account, some requests may be limited if we cannot reasonably identify data linked to you.

12. Children’s privacy

Snake Survival is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.

The App is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law for independent consent to data processing in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal data to us unlawfully, contact us at privacy@moolu.io and we will review the request.

If Snake Survival is later marketed or configured as child-directed, or if children are included in the Google Play target audience, we will review the App’s privacy setup, SDK configuration, advertising settings, consent flows, and Google Play disclosures before publication or distribution.

13. Third-party services

The App uses third-party SDKs and services that operate under their own privacy policies, including:

We encourage you to review these third-party privacy policies.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with the App.

However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice inside the App, on the app listing, or through other appropriate channels.
